DESI DISCOVERY QUIZ 14
Agrasen Bawdi (AB) – step well of PK fame -step well is the correct answer.
It is walking distance from CP-Delhi /Barakhamba Metro & at the backyard of my Hailey Road Guest House – right in the heart of Delhi.
AB formed an unexpected & unitended sequel to DD36 where we visited Rani Ka Wav (RKW) & Adalaj. Interestingly this also belongs to the 11th century like the ones in DD36. Stepwells in south(Vijayanagara empire), Gujarat & in Northern India.: Without whatsapp, email, the basic concepts & designs seem to be the same 1000 years ago across several miles.
